Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our team. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while handling and preparing meat products in a fast-paced store environment.

You will receive, store, and process meats, ensure proper sanitation and safety, assist customers with questions and special orders, and help maintain inventory and product knowledge to support healthy shopping choices.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus basic math knowledge.
• Be dependable and reliable and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor; positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department; follow safety regulations.
• Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time and up to 8 hours per shift; may walk up to 2 miles in 8 hours.
• Able to use sharp knives and meat processing equipment safely.
• Able to lift/carry 25–90 lbs. and move pallets up to 500 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service in the Meat Department.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload deliveries and rotate stock.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders, and product location.
• Follow “Clean as You Go” and “Fresh at 4” programs and safety guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and department procedures.
