Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC on Johns Island is seeking a Meat and Seafood Clerk to deliver excellent guest service in the department. You will greet guests, apply selling skills, prepare knife-ready products, and assist with receiving, storage and merchandising to maximise sales.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepares knife-ready products for sale (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, and price).
• Assists in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintains high quality and freshness with products.
• Communicates shrink issues to management.
• Communicates guest requests/concerns to management.
• Makes PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
