Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking team members for the meat and seafood department to provide excellent guest service and merchandise products. Responsibilities include preparing knife-ready items, stocking, rotating, and maintaining safety standards while ensuring freshness and date accuracy.

The role involves customer interaction, up-selling, and supporting department operations, including receiving, inventory, and promotional PA announcements.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal and selling skills.
• Ability to interact with guests and sell products.
• Able to work well with others and provide friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and creates a selling environment in the meat/seafood department.
• Prepares knife-ready products (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, price) per standards.
• Assists in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and seafood in sales areas.
• Maintains safety and sanitation in prep areas, coolers, and sales floor.
• Ensures products are in date and of high quality and freshness.
• Communicates shrink issues to management and guest requests to management.
• Makes PA announcements for sales and promotions in the department.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
