Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager in Denton, TX to lead the department, drive sales, and coach a team in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll manage cutting operations, inventory, and standards while collaborating with store leadership to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role requires meat-cutting experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math, weights and measures knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of meat cutting experience in grocery/restaurant, including leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 90 lbs, with flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct receiving, unloading, storage and rotation of meat and seafood merchandise.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct bi-annual performance reviews and address issues with HR when needed.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings and collaborate with Store Manager on promotions and hiring decisions.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer service; act as MOD as needed.
