Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math and weights knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience and proven leadership; 2–3 years grocery retail meat dept experience preferred.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand long hours and work in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Ability to lift 25–90 lbs and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in department management and merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Handle ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Lead team brainstorms to deliver top quality products and exceptional service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing Meat & Seafood staff.
• Enforce safety, sanitation, and company guidelines; ensure freshness and proper receiving/stocking.
