Responsibilities

• Lead department operations in the absence of the department manager and the assistant department manager.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and government regulations.
• Utilize store systems that support job functions (planning, scheduling, CAO and RF Unit).
• Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Meet or exceed all applicable Management Planning guidelines.
• Develop product knowledge in meat/seafood, including cooking procedures.
• Assist in training other associates when assigned.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance; follow appearance policy.
• Maintain solid communication in the department and throughout the organization.
• Support safety standards; report needed repairs or maintenance; keep area clean.
• Observe and maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
