Job summary

Hanover Consumer Coop Society is seeking a Meat/Seafood Supervisor to manage inventory, costs, and staff while delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service. You will partner with the Store Manager to implement promotions, manage scheduling, and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting for the department, training staff, and maintaining compliant, fresh displays across all cases, with an emphasis on teamwork and community values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of local growers and products.
• Proficiency with ECRS POS system and Microsoft Office.
• Serve Safe certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department inventory, including re-ordering and stocking.
• Ensure high level of Meat/Seafood quality and service.
• Schedule Meat/Seafood department and oversee staffing.
• Work with Store Manager on merchandising strategies and promotions.
• Ensure sanitation procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee rotation of products to maintain freshness.
