BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a team member for the Meat Department in Maryland. You will weigh, wrap, and display fresh and processed meats, assist members, and help maintain safety and cleanliness in the department.

Responsibilities include inspecting deliveries, stocking cases, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure great member service. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to club standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery; ensures quality standards are met.
• Ensures the meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases are fully stocked.
• Receives and unpacks meat, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department.
• Maintains club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned; attends fully.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
