The role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and cross-customer service opportunities. The position requires a high school diploma, basic math, and willingness to work varied hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Meat department.
• Experience in natural foods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of meat and seafood cases and work areas.
• Stocks and presents meat/seafood items accurately and neatly.
• Responds to customer inquiries and assists with purchases.
• Ensures proper temperatures and safety practices in production.
• Operates equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, and pallet jacks.
• Participates in inventory prep and supports department goals.
