Job summary

In-N-Out Burger in Chino, CA is hiring a Quality Control Technician - Meat to join our Food Safety and Quality Assurance team. This full-time role focuses on ensuring material and process quality on the production floor, conducting documentation, and supporting corrective actions to maintain high standards.

The ideal candidate will have an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, 1+ year of QA/food safety experience, and familiarity with HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Meat Science, Animal Science, Food Science, Microbiology or related field.
• One or more years of industry or classroom experience in food production, quality assurance, and/or food safety.
• HACCP and/or Preventive Controls for Human Food trained, preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality, food safety and sanitation standards across production areas.
• Conduct sampling and testing of processes, environment and products.
• Calibrate and use sampling, weighing and temperature monitoring equipment.
• Assist with monitoring warehouse and production facilities’ conditions and communicate deviations to standards.
• Support FSQA teams in enforcing food safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in ongoing QA development and mandatory trainings.
