Job summary

In-N-Out Burger is seeking a FSQA Beef Technical Services Manager for our Lancaster, TX beef processing center. The role reports to the FSQA Department Head and oversees all FSQA activities across three production facilities, including food safety, QA, lab operations, regulatory affairs, sanitation, and R&D.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in meat/beef operations, HACCP certification, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in meat operations or beef-focused facility.
• HACCP certification is required.
• Knowledge of USDA-FSIS and regulatory affairs is required.
• Beef regulatory affairs knowledge and beef food safety principles is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food safety and regulatory compliance of beef manufacturing.
• Oversight of FSQA programs and vendor feedback on incoming raw materials.
• R&D of new packaging, products, equipment, and software related to food safety.
• Visit suppliers’ facilities regularly to inspect processes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices; ensure compliance.
• Provide complete and timely communication to FSQA Department Head and Director of Meat Operations.
• Analyze and evaluate process controls for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
• Travel between production sites monthly (20%-50%).
