Job summary

In-N-Out Burger Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor in Chino, CA to oversee all sample analysis and reporting, ensure instrument maintenance, and manage staff development. The role requires leadership in a full-time on-site capacity and contributes to continuous improvement in a fast-paced food production environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in microbiology or food science, supervisory experience, and proficiency with LIMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Animal Science, or equivalent field.
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory operations supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, SPC; food industry experience preferred.
• Experience in ISO 17025 and/or ELAP accredited laboratories preferred.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of GxP, instrumentation; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee qualitative PCR and quantitative testing, data analysis and reporting using LIMS.
• Manage laboratory associate training, development, scheduling and documentation.
• Procurement of laboratory and QA supplies.
• Lead or contribute to special projects via root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Ensure tests on meat and products meet quality and safety standards.
