Job summary

Ruprecht is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead raw production operations in a high-quality meat manufacturing setting. You will drive performance through plant KPIs, ensure food safety standards, and foster an engaged workforce.

The role collaborates with QA leadership to maintain USDA/FDA compliance and supports audits of suppliers and internal processes. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, HACCP certification, SQF/PCQI training, and 3–5 years in food manufacturing, preferably

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Meat Science, Animal Science, or related field preferred.
• Must be HACCP certified with demonstrable knowledge of Food Safety.
• Trained in SQF and PCQI, preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in the food industry, preferably in cooked & RTE operations.

Responsibilities

• Understand, display knowledge and supervise the execution of FSQA programs including SQF systems, HACCP, sanitation, pest control, GMPs, traceability, internal audit, training, food defense and security to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate implementation and execution of quality, food safety, and sanitation systems with QA teams.
• Lead investigations on the raw processing side and warehouse; determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Analyze facts with technicians to determine actions within standard practices.
• Ensure QA holds are communicated and executed with cross-functional teams and adherence to procedures.
• Evaluate and risk assess product disposition in case of deviations.
• Manage pre-operational checks and environmental monitoring programs; drive improvements.
• Identify process opportunities and collaborate on resolutions.
• Work with QA Director for product assessments or evaluations.
• Support audits of 2nd/3rd parties with the QA director.
