Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a sanitation-focused team member to support our meat processing areas. You will follow USDA guidelines to clean and sanitize packaging and machinery and ensure the smooth flow of product through production.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment for cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and assisting with general sanitation tasks across processing areas. This role requires a detail-oriented approach and teamwork to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 6–12 months sanitation experience in warehouse or production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete cleaning and sanitization of meat packaging and processing machines and work areas according to USDA regulations.
• Maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process.
• May include cleaning office areas and cleaning/sanitizing meat, produce, or cheese processing areas.
• Function as a team member within the department and organization and perform duties to best serve the company.
• Review work schedule, prepare for operations, and secure equipment at the end of the shift.
