Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a sanitation-focused worker for the Meat Pack area. You will perform cleaning and sanitization of meat packaging equipment and workspaces in line with USDA regulations to maintain product quality and sanitation standards.

The role requires 6–12 months of sanitation experience in a warehouse or production setting, with a high school diploma or GED. OSHA forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 - 12 Months experience in sanitation within a warehouse and/ or production environment.
• Preferred OSHA forklift operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete sanitization of meat packaging and processing machines and work areas per USDA regulations to meet quality standards.
• Review work schedule, perform safety checks on equipment, obtain supplies, and prepare for operations.
• Assist with manual packaging assembly and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in the Meat Pack area.
