Job summary

Colorado Premium Foods in Denver, CO is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of our meat processing facility. You will perform mechanical repairs, building upkeep, equipment installation, preventative maintenance, and emergency response tasks to minimize downtime.

The role requires inspecting and maintaining conveyors and production equipment, following safety rules, reading manuals, using measuring tools, and completing Work Orders in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining mechanical and facility systems is preferred.
• Ability to interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Proactive, safety-conscious approach to maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, and maintain building systems, production equipment, and conveyors to meeting standards.
• Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical fixtures, lighting, painting, and general facility upkeep.
• Complete Work Orders (WO) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks in the CMMS.
• Maintain departmental tools, power equipment, and spare-parts inventory.
