Job summary

K2D is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for our meat processing facility in Denver, CO. The role ensures safe, reliable operation of all equipment, performs mechanical repairs, building upkeep, and supports plant operations.

Responsibilities include completing WOs/PMs, maintaining inventories, and interpreting manuals. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude and adherence to safety and quality standards in a cold, demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret manuals and schematics.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform building and equipment maintenance in a meat processing environment.
• Carry out repairs to plumbing, electrical fixtures, lighting and painting.
• Execute PMs and WOs in the maintenance system.
• Maintain tools, power equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and hot work controls.
