Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Four years of leadership experience in meat processing.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage plant production and work with management to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with all departments to establish and carry out operational challenges.
• Direct, monitor and appraise performance of all reporting areas and provide direction on concerns.
• Maintain qualified personnel and recommend compensation for production staff.
• Participate with the management team to develop business strategies and policy direction.
• Provide input and leadership on decision-making; review and approve costs in labor, equipment, supplies and other areas.
• Work with customers, sales and merchandising on product development and meat knowledge.
• Assist with customer and field sales inquiries to resolve problems.
• Provide analysis to the president as requested.
• Approve major projects or personnel changes within the facility.
• Explain expenditures with benefits and payback time based on studies.
