Job summary

JBS Foods in Colorado is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead meat-producing activities on a management track. You will oversee safety, efficiency, and scheduling for teams including inspectors and meat cutters.

The role requires 5–10+ years in beef/pork/poultry operations, strong English communication, and proven leadership in a meat-packing environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with standard shift hours.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in beef/pork/poultry operations.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of all aspects of operations.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Management experience in meat-packing industry.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
• Direct and coordinate activities of employees in operations such as inspectors and meat cutters.
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records to determine production requirements and outputs.
• Confer with superintendents to coordinate operations within or between departments.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Inspect materials, products or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Demonstrate equipment operations, work and safety procedures to new employees or assign trainings.
• Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints or grievances.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders and company policies for workers.
• Other duties, as assigned.
