Qualifications

• Experience in production settings preferred.
• Prior work in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work safely around chemicals, machinery, and knives.
• Comfortable working in conditions with slippery floors, extreme temperatures, and loud noise.
• Ability to work 40+ hours.
• Strong attendance and safety records.
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Use knives, steel, and a hook to perform job tasks.
• Maintain sharpness of knives and develop knife-sharpening skills.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Bag and box product.
• Properly utilize PPE at all times.
• Work hands-on at high speed and lift over 50lbs.
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to food safety protocols.
• Ensure meat quality per JBS specifications.
• Prepare meat for packing (e.g., shaving or washing).
• Inspect meat or packaging and report hazards.
