Job summary

SpartanNash is hiring for a Meat Department role in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. The position involves preparing and displaying meat products, packaging to plan, and stocking the backroom while ensuring safety and guest experience guidelines. Excellent attention to detail and basic math are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Meat Products to Production Planner.
• Package and Label Meat Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Meat Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Meat Products – Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets.
• Notify the Meat Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Work as a team with other departments and Stores to achieve growth in SpartanNash Retail stores.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
