Job summary

Alliance Workforce Management is hiring Maintenance Technicians to support a high-volume meat processing facility. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to keep production equipment running safely and with minimal downtime.

Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (four 12-hour shifts) with three days off weekly; environment is cold, humid, and noisy. Candidates should have strong mechanical/electrical knowledge and experience with refrigeration systems; English

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration systems preferred.
• Able to read technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Replace motors, controls, and defective parts as needed.
• Maintain maintenance logs and work orders accurately.
• Collaborate with production to quickly resolve equipment problems.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Serve as backup Refrigeration Technician when needed.
