Job summary

The Market in the Square is seeking a Meat Wrapper to join our team. You will provide exceptional service at the meat counter and over the phone, and ensure freshness and quality of packaged meats.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace, rotate stock, and collaborate with teammates to keep the department running smoothly. Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts required; must be 18+ with 1–2 years in a Meat Department preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–2 years experience in a Meat Department preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the Meat counter and over the phone.
• Package, weigh, label, and merchandise meat products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of meat products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required; flexible hours

Education and Work Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 1-2 years experience in a Meat Department preferred, but not necessary
