The role requires 2-3 years of meat-cutting experience, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and fluency in English. A neat, professional appearance and a positive attitude are essential to succeed in this team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• No minimum educational requirement needed
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 2-3 years meat-cutting experience desired
• Must be able to regularly move and/or lift 50 lbs, and occasionally lift 100 lbs
• Fluent English-speaking and writing skills
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Outgoing, friendly, and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Weigh and wrap all fresh and frozen meats as directed
• Cut and trim products under Meat Manager guidance
• Check weekly ad items and program prices in scales
• Maintain cleanliness of meat equipment and prep areas
• Notify scan coordinator of price changes and new items
• Set up case for weekly specials and update signs
• Maintain case orderly, fresh and appealing for customers
• Provide high level customer service
• Assist with proper packaging of meat products
• Check and maintain daily case temperatures
