Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department team member in Stoneham, MA. You will weigh, package, wrap, and label meats, assist Members with questions about meats, poultry, and seafood, and help maintain clean, well-stocked cases.

Prior meat or deli experience is preferred; must be 18+ and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes safety, speed, customer service, and teamwork with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of wrapping machines preferred.
• Experience in meat/deli department preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions about meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label meat cuts; assist in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspect and store meat; ensure quality and meets standards.
• Maintain fully stocked meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases.
• Rotate items by expiration dates and manage waste.
• Receive and unpack meat and related items; move to cooler.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and display fixtures.
• Follow club policies; maintain attendance and teamwork.
• Other duties in related departments as needed.
