Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an energetic Meat Department Team Member to assist members, weigh, wrap, and label meat, poultry, and seafood. You will rotate stock, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure product availability and quality.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth. Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 30 pounds; experience in meat or deli is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in meat/deli department preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
• Rotate meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the meat department.
