Job summary

Lee’s Marketplace is seeking a Meat Clerk to prepare, package, label, and merchandise fresh meat and seafood while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. You will help customers choose products and ensure the department is clean, stocked, and organized.

The role requires flexibility, 18+ age, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We offer a friendly team and opportunities for growth within the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service or guest service (preferred).
• Previous Meat Department experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat cuts per customer orders and store requirements.
• Assist customers with meat cuts, preparation methods, and cooking recommendations.
• Keep the meat department stocked with fresh products and display them appealingly.
• Rotate stock, check expiration dates, and assist in ordering products as needed.
