Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Keown Station, PA is seeking a meat department team member to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats. You will assist Members by answering questions and recommending products while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, fast, friendly service, and adherence to Gold Club standards; prior meat/deli experience is preferred, must be at least 18, and the position offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department.
