BJ’s Wholesale Club in Bridgeville, PA is hiring a Meat Department Team Member to weigh, wrap, stock and merchandise fresh and processed meats, seafood, cheeses and prepared foods. You will assist Members by answering questions and recommending products while upholding safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, checking expiration dates, assisting meat cutters, and maintaining friendly, fast-paced service that supports the club’s Gold standards and a positive shopping

Competenze

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, seafood, and cheeses.
• Weigh, package, wrap and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Assist meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspect and store meat upon delivery and ensure quality standards.
• Rotate and stock cases, monitor expiration dates, and dispose of damaged products.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, displays, and areas in the meat department.
• Support club policies, procedures, and ensure a safe, positive environment.
