Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a Meat Department Manager to direct all department operations, ensuring sales, profitability, and quality customer service. You will lead scheduling, merchandising, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety standards.

The role requires at least two years of meat cutting experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. A non-exempt full-time position, reporting to the Store Director/Meat Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• At least two years' experience as a meat cutter.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all Meat Department functions to achieve sales and profit goals.
• Prepare a weekly schedule based on projected sales, volume and workload.
• Work with Store Director on localized merchandising plans for the department.
• Order merchandise and control inventory to minimize out-of-stocks and overages.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and weights & measures.
