Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Meat Department Leader in Pennsylvania to direct all department functions and drive sales and profits. You will oversee staff, scheduling, and adherence to health and safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires at least two years of meat cutting experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to Store Director/Meat Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• Ability to read and write to tag merchandise, order and rotate stock.
• Analytical skills to study reports and keep department profitable.
• Minimum two years experience as a meat cutter.
• Excellent oral and written communication with customers and vendors.
• Dexterity for cutting and trimming meat; ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all Meat Department functions to meet sales and profit goals.
• Prepare weekly schedule based on projected sales and workload.
• Collaborate with Store Director on merchandising plans for the department.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize stockouts and overstocking.
• Receive, price, and restock products following company procedures.
• Control department expenses and reduce shrinkage and pilferage.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and conduct performance reviews for Meat Department staff.
