Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all Meat Department functions to achieve sales and profit goals.
• Prepare a weekly schedule based on projected sales and workload.
• Develop localized merchandising plans with the Store Director/Meat Supervisor.
• Manage space and pricing according to movement and profitability.
• Order merchandise and control inventory to minimize stockouts and overstocks.
• Receive, weigh, and breakdown meat and related products per company standards.
• Cut and trim merchandise as directed and supervise staff.
• Maintain records, reports and bi-weekly inventory; ensure health regulations.
• Train, schedule and conduct annual performance reviews for Meat Department personnel.
