Job summary

Saver Group, Inc. is seeking a Meat Manager to lead the store's meat department, drive sales, and ensure quality and safety standards.

You will train associates, manage ordering, monthly inventory, and uphold cleanliness while maximizing gross profits.

This role requires experience with meat cutting, equipment operation, and adherence to company merchandising plans across the store's fresh departments, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment, including but not limited to knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, and power saw preferred.
• Experience with ordering, rotation, training, monthly inventory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses knives and power equipment, cuts and/or packages authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to the policies and procedures.
• Prepares and places meat cuts and products in the display counter according to the procedures so they will appear attractive and appealing to the customers.
• Orders product based on customer’s wants and needs. Review bills for proper billing.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery, to maintain cold chain and ensures meat quality.
• Ensures excellent sanitation and quality standards are met daily which adhere to the policy.
• Responsible for accurate monthly inventory count and maximizing gross profit.
