Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Service Meat Manager in Lindale, TX. You will develop new meat and seafood ideas, maintain product levels and quality, and lead department staff to achieve sales and profit goals while upholding food safety standards.

You will interview, hire, train, and supervise partners, review sales data, manage inventory, and ensure accurate labeling and pricing. Strong leadership and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18; 21+ to drive per policy; high school diploma or GED with related experience.
• Food Handler certification required; Manager Food Safety certification required.
• Prerequisite experience as meatcutter, apprentice, or manager trainee preferred.
• Ability to lead, train, interview and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Develops and presents new meat and gourmet ideas for customers.
• Maintains product levels, quality control and food safety compliance.
• Leads department personnel and promotes customer service and sales growth.
