Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, TX is seeking a dedicated meat department team member to ensure market and seafood cases are full, rotated, and fresh. You will cut, weigh, package, and label products and promote excellent customer service.

You will work with upper management to train staff, review sales data, and manage inventory to maintain in-stock levels while upholding quality and safety standards. Strong teamwork and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business.
• High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps market and seafood cases full, rotated, and fresh; cuts, weighs, packages, and labels products as needed.
• Train and develop partners; assist with scheduling and directing work along with upper management.
• Review historical sales data; assist with inventory management to maintain in-stock levels and support profitability.
• Ensure quality control and food safety standards; rotate dated products and monitor labeling compliance.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist customers in person or by phone.
