• Sets department standards for customer service, cleanliness, sanitation, professional appearance and overall profitability.
• Recruits, hires, trains, supervises, disciplines, and evaluates department employees.
• Determines department goals with store director and plans weekly schedules.
• Ensures proper temperatures, storage, and freshness; manages inventory.
• Handles customer issues and communicates pricing and promotions.
• Instructs, assigns, reviews and plans work of others.
