Job summary

Coborn's, Inc. seeks a Meat Department Assistant Manager to support the Meat Department Manager in daily operations.

You will prepare products for sale, ensure freshness, rotate stock, and remove out-of-code merchandise while maintaining precise inventory records. You will also lead the department’s staff, direct workload, provide coaching and training, and ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat Department Manager in all meat department operations.
• Prepare products for sale and ensure freshness by coding, rotating, or culling all products.
• Remove out-of-code merchandise and maintain accurate records of inventory and shrink.
• Provide customer service and support employee relations, training, and supervision of staff.
• Direct workload, counsel, train, and evaluate performance of department team.
