Coborn's Meat Department is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Meat Department Manager in all facets of operations. You will help prepare products for sale, ensure freshness through coding and rotation, and remove out-of-code merchandise while leading staff decisions and performance evaluations.

The role includes directing workload, coaching, training, and supervision to maintain a high-performing team in a vibrant grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat Department Manager in all facets of meat department operations.
• Prepare products for sale.
• Control freshness by coding, rotating, or culling all products.
• Remove out-of-code merchandise.
• Direct staff when in charge of the department to include: directing workload, counseling, training, performance evaluations, and supervision.
