PAQ, Inc. Meat Department is seeking a capable 2nd in command to assist the Meat Manager in Sacramento. You will help schedule staff, manage inventory, merchandise based on demand, and ensure fresh, attractively presented meats.

Strong leadership, knife skills, and pricing accuracy are essential. The role is full-time, on-site at 4551 Mack Road, with varying shifts including weekends. Five+ years of meat-cutting and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Over five years meat-cutting and supervisory experience.
• Advanced knowledge of meat department operations and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist Meat Department Manager in planning and coordinating daily operations.
• Schedule team according to labor objectives.
• Oversee merchandising plans based on product movement and demand.
• Inspect freshness and labeling; rotate perishable items.
• Maintain sanitation, temps, and proper storage.
• Oversee training and compliance with policies.
• Prepare orders and weigh/wrap meat for display.
