Job summary

PAQ, Inc. in Fairfield, CA, is seeking a Meat 3rd to oversee the meat department on-site.

You will supervise Meat Clerks and Cutters, ensure proper stocking, rotation, and presentation of products, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. You will assist with daily operations, manage inventory, train staff, and handle customer inquiries in a fast-paced retail environment, while performing duties of Meat Cutter as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Over five years of meat-cutting experience preferred, Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations of the meat department.
• Supervise and train Meat Clerks and Cutters.
• Ensure proper stocking, rotation, and presentation of products.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform duties of Meat Cutter and Clerk as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
