Job summary

PAQ, Inc. is hiring a Meat Clerk to deliver prompt, friendly service while maintaining the meat department’s presentation and assisting with inventory. You will greet customers, help them choose products, and ensure accurate labeling and pricing.

The role also involves grinding ground meat, stocking, rotating items for freshness, and supporting inventory and ordering. Strong customer service and basic math are essential; prior retail experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in selecting meat products.
• Prepare ground meat using a meat grinder.
• Package and label meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat department.
• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
