The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods. No experience required; on-the-job training is provided, with weekend/evening shifts common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided; no prior retail or meat experience required.
• Basic math for weighing and pricing is needed.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in selecting meat products.
• Prepare ground meat using a meat grinder.
• Package and label meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the meat department.
• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
