Job summary

Price Rite of SECANE, PA is seeking a Meat Department Supervisor to lead the Meat Department and Perishable staff in a fast-paced retail grocery setting. This full-time role reports to the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager and emphasizes sanitation, merchandising, payroll, and policy compliance.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma (some college preferred), strong English skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills including percentages.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including day, evening and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop and manage the Meat Department and perishable staff.
• Order, receive and inventory department products.
• Organize and maintain coolers, freezers and cases.
• Merchandise and sign meat department to enhance sales and presentation.
• Supervise, train and develop team members; ensure safety and compliance.
