Job summary

Price Rite in CHICOPEE is seeking a Meat Department Supervisor to lead the perishable team, direct operations, and safeguard assets while ensuring quality, sanitation and presentation.

You will oversee ordering, inventory, training and scheduling, while delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals in a fast-paced retail setting.

Must have strong English skills, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and hold a Food Safety Certification to maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills: percent, addition, subtraction.
• Follow directions and safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 lbs. and work in cold temperatures.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends.
• Prior meat/ supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive and inventory department products.
• Organize, clean and maintain coolers, freezers and cases.
• Stock and merchandise meat department to enhance sales and presentation.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Communicate with all management levels to achieve goals.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain store standards.
