Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines.
• Prior meat/deli department experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and ensures quality standards.
• Keeps cases for meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese fully stocked and rotated by expiration dates.
• Receives deliveries, stores properly, and maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the meat department.
• Assists members by answering questions and helping with product recommendations.
