Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Department Associate to assist Members, answer questions, and recommend products in the meat, poultry, and seafood sections. You will weigh, wrap, label, and stock items, while maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the department.

We’re seeking individuals 18+ with experience in meat or deli settings, capable of lifting and moving items, and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Recommend products and ensure cases are fully stocked and clean.
• Rotate products by expiration dates and maintain safety standards.
• Wrap, label, and package meat items and assist in meat department operations.
