Job summary

Responsibilities include inventory control, weekly merchandising execution, sanitation and food safety, staff training, and department coverage in the meat manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, break down loads, and rotate cooler.
• Weigh, price and label products.
• Stock cases and prepare valued-added products.
• Provide exemplary customer service and product knowledge.
• Order and manage inventory; control shrink and labor targets.
• Reconcile invoices and execute weekly merchandising plans.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards; train team members.
• Manage department in meat manager's absence; handle special orders.
