Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Meat Department lead to ensure effective and profitable operations, driving sales and team growth. You’ll oversee daily meat counter activities, inventory, pricing, and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment in Camp Hill, PA.

You will train team members, enforce food safety standards, and help execute weekly merchandising plans while maintaining exceptional service and quality products for our neighbors.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, breakdown loads, and rotate cooler.
• Weigh, price, and label.
• Stock cases.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Train team members and manage department in meat manager's absence.
