Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Meat Department leader to drive profitable operations and staff development in our Pennsylvania stores. You will oversee product quality, pricing, inventory, and customer service while managing schedules and training team members.

You will be responsible for maintaining sanitation and food safety standards, achieving sales and profit targets, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations to perform duties.

• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, break down loads, and rotate cooler.
• Weigh, price, and label products.
• Stock cases and prepare valued-added products.
• Provide exemplary customer service and apply product knowledge.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and shrink controls under supervision.
• Write schedules, train team members, and maintain morale.
• Achieve department sales, gross profit, and labor targets.
• Reconcile invoices and execute merchandising plans.
• Conduct department walks and staff meetings; ensure sanitation and food safety.
