Sam's Club is opening a brand-new club in Katy, TX and seeks skilled Meat Cutters and Wrappers to join the founding team. You will cut, wrap, and package fresh meats, ensuring quality, safety, and attractive displays for members.

The role emphasizes high service standards and pride in craftsmanship. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, support other departments as needed, and help build a culture of excellence from day one.

Formación

• Experience handling meat products and maintaining freshness.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.
• Customer-service oriented and able to assist members.

Responsabilidades

• Cut, grind, wrap, trim, and package meat according to established standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of floor/backroom operations, product safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
• Maintain quality and date control; ensure meat products are properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
• Secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste and reduce shrink through proper handling.
• Use hand-held technology to make in-the-moment decisions about production and product quality.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize meat-cutting equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist members with product selection and purchasing decisions; provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Collaborate with associates to keep the meat department running smoothly and be flexible to support other areas as needed.
